JULY SCHEDULE POSTED

CHECK OUT THE SCHEDULE FOR JULY!!

There have been two extra games added to the roster to make up for our weather cancellations. Please make sure to be thorough when checking your game times, as some nights have been switched around to space things out properly. Some weeks will be Monday, Wednesday & Friday, and some with be Tuesday & Friday.

Don’t forgot to book off time for our Season End Tournament Saturday July 23rd!!

More Games in July!!

Hello Everyone!
We have good news! The Board has discussed the game cancellations, and have decided to include two extra game days into the season to make up for them!!

We are currently working on the new schedule, it will include some big changes in July. We will be providing the July schedule it once we have it finalized.

Our June 24th game has not changed and we hope to be out playing Friday!!

GAME CANCELLATION

Hello Players,
Due to the huge storm that we all just experienced, the fields are closed for at least the next couple days, and the games for tonight (June 17th) are cancelled.

The board will be looking at alternative methods to play some of the cancelled games.
We want to thank everyone for their patience and understanding during this time.

Re-Tiering

Re – Tiering

After the first three seeding games the board has determined who will be moving up a tier and who will be moving down a tier based on stats and scores.

Summit will be moving from Tier 2 up to Tier 1 and Smokin’ Aces will moving from Tier 1 to Tier 2!!!

WEATHER CANCELLATION!!!

Unfortunately, due to the weather, the fields are no longer playable for this Friday, June 10th. We apologize for the inconvenience and we hope to see everyone next Friday, June 17th!

7v7 Schedule June & July 2016

*** July 23, 2016 is our Tournament and Year End Party *** PLEASE PUT THIS ON YOUR CALENDAR AND BOOK IT OFF!!! ***

ALL teams will be participating in this year’s Final Tournament which will take place the entire Saturday, July 23rd. Teams are guaranteed 2 games minimum!

Starting July 5th, all teams play Tuesday AND Friday until the Tournament!

League Update

There are 14 teams registered for play this 2016 7v7 season. This includes one team of individual registrants simply named “Team Individuals”. They will have an opportunity to rename themselves within a few game days. Let’s take a look at how the season is going to break down:

League Format

Currently, there are 6 Competitive teams who will be playing in Tier 1 and 8 Semi-Competitive and recreational teams in Tier 2. Any new teams established this year will begin the year in Tier 2 as per past practice.

The season consists of 13 Game Days and 1 Double Knockout Year End Tournament to be played July 23, 2016. Of these 13 game days, the first 3 game days will be pre-season seeding games. After these pre-season seeding games, the teams may be subjectively re-tiered based on their performance to balance the league if necessary, points will be reset to zero and the league play will begin! League play will consist of 10 league games and each team’s final standing within the league at the end of the league season will generate their seeding going into the year end tournament. This tournament is going to run a bit differently this year as a one day tournament with each team guaranteed two games so be sure to book this day off!

MNP LLP & Fort St John are having a Corporate Soccer Challenge on May 27 & 28th.

  • When: 4-11pm Friday May 27th & 10am-6pm Saturday May 28th
  • Location: Kid’s Arena Field House, 9615 96 Ave, Fort St John, BC
  • Cost: $200 team entry & $20 per person entry
  • DEADLINE TO ENTER: May 20th 2016
  • Yummy BBQ by Donation on Saturday from 11-2

Net Set-up & Referee Meeting!!

This SUNDAY APRIL 24TH AT 11AM we have the Adult Soccer NET SET UP at the fields!!! We are asking for everyone to come help us out! The more hands we have, the faster we get it done. And as a thank you for your help, we will be taking our helpers out for lunch at Boston Pizza!!

REFEREES: There is a referee pre-season meeting at Boston Pizza, Wednesday May 4th at 6:30pm!! This will be a pre season wind up to clarify the rules, hand out equipment, & go over anything else this season.

REGISTRATION IS DUE APRIL 27TH FOR TEAMS & APRIL 30TH FOR INDIVIDUALS! FIRST GAME MAY 6TH!!
